Financial Report as of August 20th, 2024

Motion to approve financial report made by Fluck, 2nd by Gillespie. Motion carried.

Operator’s Report – Flow rate is variable. Some days flow rates are “really high”. Probiotics are helping the ponds recover and we do have some odor coming off from the ponds. Trouble with lift station # 7 communication. Pointed the antenna in another direction and it made a big difference. Ron has fixed the line he blew apart, Ordered a better “allegator” clamp. Ron hopes to get his CDL license next week. Lots of locates have been coming in. Ron did a tap in Beaver Mountain.

Continuing Business –

Rio Grande RV & Resort and Connection Agreement- Nothing has changed. The planning and zoning board of South Fork is sending this to the town board for final approval. A lift station has been ordered.

Sawmill Meadows Village/Work Force Housing- Everything is done so far. Working on an easement with CDOT.

Discussion on Plant Maintenance- Spoke with our (engineer) and is now getting caught up on the project here and working on getting the bar screens put in.

Hire a New Employee- Will start advertising.

Increase on Ron’s Insurance Plan- Ok to increase pay by $101.68 for insurance that went up in June. Will need to back pay from June and July and make sure the difference is on August check and forward.

Lazy Bear Cabins- Nothing yet but they are moving forward. If the cabins become long term rentals, we will have to do a rate increase and get a budget increase on the agenda.

Peacock Meadow’s- They are selling it and making some changes. The tap fees might have to be changed at Peacock Meadows. When Peacock Meadows opened, they only paid RV tap fees and some of these will be single family residential fee. There might be zoning issues with Peacock Meadows.

New Business – New gas station. Ron is working with Nate from the town on the water lines for the entrance and it depends on CDOT as well.

Adjourned- Motion made to adjourn the meeting made by Navara, 2nd by Gillespie. Motion carried.

Respectfully submitted this 18th day of September 2024.
