Board Meeting call to order at 6:30 PM Board members present, Darrell T. Davis, Tom Slade, Darrel Gillespie, Rob Navara, Emily Cruz Office Administrator, Ron Carpenter District Manager

President Davis called for the Allegiance and Invocation

Approve June 19^th,2024 Minutes- Motion to approve the minutes made by Navara, 2^nd by Gillespie. Motion carried.

Additions or Corrections to Agenda – None

Public Comment – None

Financial Report as of July 16^th, 2024

Motion to approve the financial report made by Slade, 2^nd by Gillespie. Motion carried.

Operator’s Report – Lift station #2 is done just need to put on the floats. Ron may have to leave due to Mom’s illness. Samples got done today. The ponds are starting to catch up with the pro-biotics. The F-250 is in the shop at “Only Garage”. Klaus had to order parts for the steering column. Ron has been mowing and cleaning lift stations, he has been waging war on the prairie dogs. Ron has been catching up to 6 to 8 prairie dogs a day. Everything at the plant is working well. Ron had a physical and had to take four written tests again for his CDL License.

Continuing Business –

           Rio Grande RV & Resort and Connection Agreement- Everything is in place to move forward. CDOT has given them the ok.

            Sawmill Meadows Village/Work Force Housing- Nothing has changed.

            Discussion on Plant Maintenance- Spoke with our engineer and he doesn’t have anything and is still looking into things.

            Hire a New Employee- Still looking. Ron looked at Colorado Rural Water ad and there are 25 open positions with them.

New Business –

            Increase on Ron’s Insurance Plan- In July Ron’s health insurance through Lucinda’s employer went up. He will bring in the cost increase from the employer’s plan at the next meeting.

Lazy Bear Cabins- If they become monthly rental cabins then we will need to change the amount of the service cost to them.

Peacock Meadow’s- Not sure what is going on with the Tiny Homes in the park yet? If they set them up for usage, then we will need to charge them accordingly.
