Board Meeting call to order at 6:30 PM Board Members present, Darrell T. Davis, Ellie Fluck, Darrel Gillespie, Tom Slade, Rob Navara, Emily Cruz Office Administrator, Ron Carpenter District Manager
President Davis called for the Allegiance and Invocation
Approve August 21st,2024 Minutes- Motion to approve minutes made by Fluck, 2nd by Navara. Motion carried.
Additions or Corrections to Agenda – Motion to approve agenda with revised New Business discussion of Carport to be added. Made by Fluke and Gillespie. Motion carried.
Public Comment – Alpine Trails/Reduce Number of RV Spots- Physical inspection of site to verify if they choose to abandon 17 taps. They must comply with our regulations. Motion to approve made by Fluck, 2nd by Gillespie. Motion carried.
Financial Report as of September 17th, 2024
Motion to approve financial report made by Fluck, 2nd, by Slade. Motion carried.
Operator’s Report – Everything is functioning well. Ron has his CDL License. Gillespie was a lot of help. Lift station #7 has some transmission and communication issues. Lift station #2 had an air lock. Ron has been working with mission control regarding the amount of time it runs. The lab will not accept samples on Mondays or Tuesdays. Ron was able to get us a free auto sampler. This will make timing and sampling more accurate. This equipment will need to be enclosed and kept out of the elements. Ron has done three sewer taps this month.
Continuing Business –
Rio Grande RV & Resort and Connection Agreement- Still need inspection and testing.
Sawmill Meadows Village/Work Force Housing- No change still waiting on AC/DC Lane.
Discussion on Plant Maintenance- No new information.
Hire a New Employee- Working on advertising for position.
Lazy Bear Cabins- Sold, Molly Gillespie will be running it for Lee Welch, the new owner. Change price to single family residence.
Peacock Meadow’s- Wants to set up 3-4 park models. Ron will need to find out if they are zoned for it. There will need to be additional tap fees for park models. Billing will need to be increased for these.
New Business – Base Camp Convenience- Work in progress
Preliminary 2025 Budget Presented- Continue reviewing.
Discuss Increase of Commercial Property Rates- Will check into rental rates and pull Air B&B report from town, then figure out rate increase on those as well.
Carport- A customer is interested in purchasing our carport. They will need to make an offer.
